GC-4100 Series Gas Chromatograph
Features
The GC-4100 Series is EWAI’s new generation of gas chromatographs. As compared with the GC-4000A Series, a number of technical improvements has resulted in better performance and greater automation. Up to ten gas paths can be controlled using EPC flow or pressure control, including the carrier gas, ignition gas, auxiliary gas, split flow and makeup gas, among others. Detector and column oven temperatures are controlled by a new and improved PID method, with a control accuracy of ± 0.03 ℃.
● The new TCD has less thermally conductive volume, which improves stability time. Our TCD is constructed with anti-oxidant components and features a constant average temperature bridge power supply to heat the filament. This results in an increase in sensitivity while improving lifetime. Using split flow injection with a capillary column and TCD, six consecutive analysis of benzene in toluene results in an RSD of less than 2.5%, as well as peaks with a small FWHM.
● The volume of the micro ECD cell has been reduced, resulting in greater baseline stability. Capillary columns can now be used with ECD. The sensitivity has been improved significantly. The detection limit now reaches 2 × 10-14 g/mL (γ-666).
